I'm Moving to Canada! Toronto or Bust!

I’m going to make this one short and sweet.  Every company should take notes on the videos below.  Both of them are amazing examples of how you can change someone’s day or life just by thinking about the people you serve rather than the bottom line.I came across the first video back in December, before I got the brilliant idea to start this blog.

Then today, I see this video:

So now you’re all like, so what’s the big deal and why are you moving to Canada?  Ok, maybe that was a little drastic; I wouldn’t survive a second in a Canadian Winter.  But WestJet Airlines and TD Bank, the companies featured in the videos above, are both Canadian companies and I think what they are doing is great.

Unfortunately, neither are available in Key West but I can tell you that if I ever the opportunity to fly WestJet I will, no matter the price; and I’m officially opening a bank account with TD Bank next time I visit my grandmother in Jacksonville.  I want to support companies that have a conscious.  Companies with soul.

One of the greatest lessons I’ve learned over the past year is to practice gratitude.  Count your blessings not your problems.  Say thank you.  And smile.
